When I think of happiness, I think of belly laughs, my family, a baby’s gummy smile, a child’s giggle, and the comfort I feel in the presence of people who love me and who I love. Loss changes you that is hard to put into words. You feel like you cannot possibly explain the visceral, sick heartache you experience when you lose someone you love.
